As a private institution the requirement for this project was specific for business development, and not a requirement of HESA. Nonetheless, I led the development of this business survey design, and to introduce a series of new questions to give added value for student feedback to understand student experiences of studying with a private university, to successfully measure, compare performances and benchmark with public sector state funded HEI’s. Insights identified a shift in respondent profile to a younger student, preferences to full time study, motivational factors for choice institution, additional skills attained, satisfaction and attitudinal measurements all designed to support communications, press coverage, campaign activity for lead generation.
