Building on the previous student (2006) and member (2008) surveys, working with other Market Research Executives I led the process to review the structure and approach to these surveys owing to the large size, coverage and relevance of question appeal in one survey design. Following a team review process, it was decided to break the surveys from a single large survey into more manageable category topic based surveys to reflect the changing needs, requirements and geographic spread of the business in which the research was required. The surveys covered categories such as KPI’s and business performance measurements, publication and communications, the website, services and facilities and for students only student support. Scheduled throughout the year, these became manageable for in house capability further saving the business costs on external commissioned projects.
